I'm Rachel and I love capturing joy on camera!

 

I got my start in photography when I was working under a creative director at a church who handed me a camera before Sunday service and said, "Go find a good moment!"

 

I was so nervous. I had no idea what I was doing. It felt getting drop-kicked into the deep end of a swimming pool as Sunday mornings quickly turned into summer camps and church-wide events. Soon congregation members were asking for family photos, new headshots, and brand work for their businesses.

 

Next thing I knew, I was finding "good moments" everywhere! Fast forward to now and photography isn't just part of a day job I do for someone else. It's a cornerstone of the creative  business my husband and I run together and I love doing it! 

 

Capturing a moment in time isn't just about getting the shot, it's about preserving the feeling of that joyful moment for another day. That's why I strive to make every photoshoot a fun, relaxed environment. So when you look back on your pictures, you can remember the wonderful memories you made with your family while taking them!
